Description

RIGOL RSA814 14 GHz, Real-Time Spectrum Analyser with Tracking Generator

The RSA814, Part of the RIGOL RSA800 Series, combines high-performance spectrum analysis with powerful real-time signal capture in a compact, portable platform. Covering frequencies from 5 kHz to 4.5 GHz, 8.5 GHz or 14 GHz, the RSA800 supports traditional swept spectrum analysis, real-time spectrum analysis, vector signal analysis, EMI pre-compliance testing and analogue demodulation, making it suitable for a wide range of RF development, validation and troubleshooting applications.

With excellent phase noise performance, low displayed average noise level (DANL), up to 40 MHz real-time bandwidth, a built-in tracking generator and optional advanced RF measurement packages, the RSA800 delivers laboratory-grade capability in an instrument weighing just 1.9 kg. Designed for both bench and field use, it also supports USB-C power bank operation, making high-performance RF analysis more accessible than ever.

Features
  • Frequency coverage from 5 kHz to 4.5 GHz, 8.5 GHz or 14 GHz
  • Five measurement modes: GPSA, RTSA, VSA, EMI and ADM
  • 40 MHz real-time analysis bandwidth with 100% POI down to 5.62 μs
  • Excellent DANL down to -168 dBm/Hz (typ.) with preamplifier enabled
  • Low phase noise performance with -112 dBc/Hz (typ.) at 10 kHz offset (1 GHz)
  • Built-in tracking generator as standard
  • Optional Phase Noise, EMI, VSA, ADM and Advanced Measurement software packages
  • Compact 1.9 kg portable design with 7-inch HD capacitive touchscreen

Capture short-duration and intermittent signals with up to 40 MHz real-time bandwidth, 199,804 FFTs per second, and 100% Probability of Intercept (POI) down to 5.62 μs. Density displays, spectrograms and persistence views make it easy to analyse transient RF events that conventional swept analysers can miss.
The RSA800 combines GPSA, RTSA, Vector Signal Analysis (VSA), EMI pre-compliance testing and Analog Demodulation (ADM) within a single portable instrument. This versatile platform reduces the need for multiple test instruments while supporting everything from RF development to EMC troubleshooting.
Evaluate modern communication signals using built-in Vector Signal Analysis with support for QPSK, PSK, FSK, ASK and QAM formats up to 1024QAM. Detailed EVM, constellation, spectrum and error measurements simplify verification of wireless devices and communication systems.
Optional application packages provide advanced RF measurements including Occupied Bandwidth (OBW), Adjacent Channel Power (ACP), Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (C/N), Phase Noise, Analog Demodulation and EMI pre-compliance testing, enabling the RSA800 to adapt to a wide variety of RF measurement tasks.
Weighing just 1.9 kg, the RSA800 features a 7-inch HD touchscreen, USB, LAN and HDMI connectivity, built-in tracking generator, SCPI remote control support and even power bank compatibility via USB-C, making it equally suited to laboratory benches, production environments and field engineers.
