Description
Discontinued, please see NEW PCR2000MA
The Kikusui PCR2000M is a compact variable frequency AC Power Supply. Weighing only 15Kg the PCR2000M is crammed full of features including AC, DC and AC+DC output and memory function. You can measure the voltage, current and power of the AC and DC output and, using software, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, crest factor and current peak hold.
The PCR2000M is equipped with an RS-232C interface and comes complete with control software as standard. Instrument Drivers are included on the software disk. (An option is required for AC+DC Mode)
Features:
- Compact design
- Small and easy to carry – 429W x 128H x 450D, weighs only 15 kg
- Versatile output modes: AC, DC, AC+DC *1
- Output frequency range is up to 500 Hz (setting resolution 0.1Hz)
- High-quality output waveform Output voltage varies between 1 V and 135 V or 2 V and 270 V (two ranges)
- Maximum output current is 20 A (135 V range) or 10 A (270 V range)
- Copes with high inrush loads
- Output waveform distortion 0.5 % or less
- Memory feature
- You can store and recall three combinations of settings for voltage and frequency
- The memory feature allows recording of changes in output *2
- Measurement features
- You can measure the voltage, current and power of AC and DC output, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, crest factor and current peak hold *3
- Analog interface
- By incorporating an optional interface (EX04-PCR-M), output can be controlled using external analogue signals
- Input DC signals can be used to change output AC voltage and modulate output using input waveform
- Control using a PC
- You can control the PCR-M Series through the standard RS-232C interface, optional GPIB interface, or optional USB interface *4
- By using the control software (Easy Controller for PCR-M Series) that comes with the PCR-M Series, you can easily set the parameters of the PCR-M Series and log the output measured values
- *1 : You can access AC+DC mode if you have installed an optional interface board: IB21, US21 or EX04-PCR-M – the communications interface is used to set that mode
- *2 : An installed appropriate optional interface board allows up to ten combinations of settings to be stored in memory The communications interface is also used to set or call extended memory addresses (4 to 10)
- *3 : Use the communications interface to measure apparent power (VA), reactive power (VAR), power factor (PF), crest factor (CF), and held current peak
- *4 : Instrument drivers for Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Office VBA, Microsoft Visual C++ LabVIEW, or LabWindows/CVI are also included on the disc
Alex S –
Telonic helped me select the correct AC Power Supply for my application. Previously i had used other so called frequency converters but they could never cope with the inrush current. Telonic talked me through how to use the variable start phase on the PCR2000M which worked very well for my application.
Happy Customer..
