Well, I’m not quite sure what to say about this meter. Let me start with the two main problems I have with it.
1) The kick stand is the worst I have ever used. The stand material is strong, but because the case housing is so soft, any attempt to turn the multimeter dial or press one of its buttons causes the the meter to just flop backwards. Really, really poor design!! I’ll probably come up with my own fix for this but I don’t see why I should have to.
2) The dial I find a little stiff
That’s it really, apart from that it’s a good meter.
Only 3 stars from me I’m afraid – the stand just kills it for me – I nearly threw the whole thing out of the window the other day……….and breathe.

We’re sorry to hear that the kick stand hasn’t met your expectations. This style of stand is fairly common across many meters in this category, but we completely understand that it doesn’t suit every user, especially when frequent adjustments are needed.

This auto-ranging meter does exactly what I need it to do when I design Arduino-related products.
I like the analog graph at the bottom of the display and the auto-off has already saved the battery.
Tested against other products it is very accurate (good enough for me) and the REL button lets me null out any resistance in the ohms setting or voltage so you can see the difference. More useful than you might think!
I’m still getting to grips with all the features and I have no doubt this will do everything I need (and more) for the next few years at least.

I researched fully before buying this meter and in my opinion it is the best bang per buck meter you can buy. Great range of features and good safety. Telonics prices are the keenest around , but their customer service is also second to none with communications informing you every step of the way. An invoice arrived the day after ordering and the meter the day after that – incredible service. I can only reiterate – buy one of these meters and buy it from Telonic.

Am really pleased with this little MM is packed with features and does not take up much bench space but still has nice big display.
