The price of a new Fluke 87v is a staggering £450, the 87v is a 6000 count meter with an accuracy of less than BM785 which sells for a little over £100.The Fluke 289 comes in with and accuracy of 0.025% and it is about the best that can be achieved for a hand held meter. Well, the BM785 boast’s 0.03% accuracy and 60000 counts, now that’s got to be good. It took me about 1/2 hour of using the BM785 to acquire 99% confidence levels.
These Brymen meters are good, I’m tempted to buy another.
